Position Summary

  • The Director of Credit Analysis is responsible for managing a staff of credit analysts engaged in the analysis, servicing, and reporting of the association’s loan portfolio.
  • The candidate will process and approve loans in the assigned territory within the limits of specific delegated authority consistent with association policies.
  • Additionally, the Director will evaluate and service loans within the highest level of complexity and risk; conduct credit analyses, servicing and reporting of the association’s mortgage and commercial loans.
  • The Director is responsible for conducting regular evaluations of the loan portfolio as it relates to composition, liquidity, and credit quality as well as compliance with all applicable lending policies and regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Finance, or related field plus ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible banking or agricultural lending experience involving credit underwriting, administration and analysis of agribusiness loans, complex credits on commercial and mortgage loans, as well as retail loans. Experience should include at least one (1) year in a lead or supervisory position. MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred. CFA, CPA, or other relevant certification desired.
